Dynamed, ranked number one for point-of-care clinical decision support

Every year, the American research company KLAS publishes a ranking of the best services provided at healthcare facilities for the improvement of patient care. The classification is based on assessments provided by healthcare professionals themselves. This year, Dynamed, one of the resources available at the Library, has been ranked first as a provider of information for clinical decision-making.

If you have never heard of Dynamed before, come and see the collection:

• You will find thousands of entries containing descriptions and images on emergency medicine, oncology and paediatrics, among other specializations.
   
• To search for content, just type the patient's symptoms into the search bar to identify their possible causes.
   
• A group of clinically trained doctors systematically review the literature to make sure the platform is updated on a daily basis. They assess the information, summarize their findings, and provide conclusions and recommendations.
   
• You can set up alerts for specific topics and specialist areas in order to receive tailored notifications of content updates. From your personal account, click on the Follow button on the page of your choice to receive personalized notifications.
